"A Poetess Who Transforms Feelings into Inspiration."
Nazima Farooq Lone is a young poet and author from Lolab Valley, Kupwara, who transformed personal grief and anxiety into literary expression. A former student of Harshan Army Goodwill School Krusan and currently pursuing Honors in Biotechnology and Human Genetics at Sri Pratap College, Srinagar, she has also earned recognition at the UT level in volleyball. Beginning her writing journey at the age of 13, she found poetry to be a source of healing and self-discovery. She is the author of two poetry collections, Limitless and The Firewall Between Light and Darkness, which explore themes of emotions, identity, resilience, nature, and hope. Writing in English, Hindi, and occasionally Urdu, Nazima believes poetry can guide young people through life's challenges. She is currently working on a novel and continues to inspire readers through her words and positive message.
