BEST PRINCIPAL AWARD

Jaipur: On a day dedicated to celebrating India’s educators, Masroor Ahmad Dar, Principal of Army Goodwill School (AGS) Krusan, stood tall on the national stage as he received the 14th Principals & Teachers Award 2025 at a grand ceremony in Jaipur.

The award, presented every year to a select group of principals and teachers across the country, honors those who have reshaped the classroom experience through leadership, innovation, and commitment. This year, Mr. Dar’s name rose to the top for his tireless work in Lolab Valley, Kupwara, a part of Jammu & Kashmir where running a school comes with its own unique set of challenges.
Under his leadership, AGS Krusan has witnessed a shift in teaching practices, an upgrade of facilities, and a culture that encourages both creativity and discipline. The jury noted that his reforms have not only improved the academic graph of the school but also instilled values of responsibility and resilience among students, many of whom come from difficult backgrounds.

At the felicitation, organizers described Mr. Dar as a “visionary educator” whose efforts show how dedication to students can break barriers of geography and circumstance. His recognition also signals a broader acknowledgment: that the educational strides being made in Jammu & Kashmir are part of the national story.

For the Lolab Valley, the honor is a source of collective pride, marking the first time AGS Krusan has been spotlighted on such a platform. For teachers and principals elsewhere, Mr. Dar’s achievement stands as a reminder that real change in education often begins far from the limelight, in classrooms where perseverance matters as much as policy.
